Job Description

Title: Research Manager - JMFCFR

Position Type: Contractual

Duration: Initially for one year with potential extension based on performance and Institute's requirements

Salary: Negotiable, as per industry standards

Location: Udaipur, Rajasthan

The Research Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating research activities under the guidance of JMFCFR heads. This position entails a blend of research, coordination, and dissemination tasks aligned with the Centre’s objectives.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of research projects including data collection, literature reviews, econometric and statistical analysis, and drafting of research reports and papers.
• Contribute to the writing and publishing of the Centre’s annual reports.
• Engage in active networking with research scholars and professionals both within India and internationally.
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders in both written and spoken English.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Organizing seminars, talks and workshops for the dissemination of research and other activities of the Centre as well as for generating new research ideas.
• Disseminating the research activities of the Centre through its website, social media handles, networking etc.
• Work independently and/or as part of a team of people, including researchers, faculty and industry professionals.

Essential Qualifications:

A full-time postgraduate degree in accounting, finance, or economics from a recognized university.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in data analysis, case writing, and academic publication.

A PhD degree with relevant research experience will be highly advantageous.

Skills:

• Strong command of econometric techniques and statistical software along with MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a process-oriented approach.
• Good communication skills both oral and written, along with the experience of report-writing, creating infographics and developing concept notes and policy briefs.
• Experience in organising seminars, stake-holder workshops or conferences.
