• IIM Udaipur's GSCM program is a 12-months full-time MBA program for experienced professionals. It is focused on Global Supply Chain Management. Intending to develop the business leaders of tomorrow, IIM Udaipur is seeking candidates with at least three years of full-time work experience for this program.

• IIM Udaipur and other IIMs are working together to address the concerns of the Ministry of Education related to the one year MBA programs. Depending on this engagement, the final structure of the program (Degree/Diploma) will be decided.
• As per current practice, IIMU is offering an MBA degree in the GSCM programme

• There is no summer internship as a part of the GSCM program.

• There are some elective courses offered that are common to the one year and two year MBA programs.

• Research activities are part of the research program. The one-year program is packed with learning and co-curricular activities that will leave very little time to engage in serious research that the faculty will be working on.

• The mode of teaching will depend on the pandemic situation that exists at the time, and the decision will be based on guidelines received from the Central and/or State Government. At Present classes are held on campus , in an in person mode, for the current batch.

• This is not a program where students can be learning and working at the same time. It is a full-time, residential program for professionals with at least three years of prior work experience.

• IIMU provides campus placement opportunities to candidates from all programs. IIMU's corporate relations team of dedicated professionals oversees the recruitment process for all programs. Under their supervision, the student corporate relations committee for each program facilitates all interactions with the companies. The dates and other modalities for the recruitment process vary for the different programs.

• The placements for the GSCM program usually start in November or December. Companies have the option of using a pre-placement presentation.

• Students graduating from the GSCM program have been recruited for various roles like Analytics, Materials Management, Operations, Sales and Marketing and Supply Chain Management by prominent recruiters. For more details, please check the placement reports.

• Prominent recruiters included Accenture Strategy & Consulting, BNY Mellon, Bristlecone, Cognizant, Delhivery, DP World, Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd., Thought Works and Walmart. The largest number of roles were offered in Supply Chain Management and Operations Excellence Functions. A few companies also offered positions in domains like Supply Chain Analytics, Material Management, and Logistics. The average remuneration offered was Rs. 20.64 lakhs per annum with the highest salary being Rs. Rs 41.38 lakhs per annum.

After receiving the offer of admission by the Institute, the candidates will mandatorily need to share their official GMAT/GRE score cards through mba.com or Educational Testing Service (ETS), as applicable. Please note the following:

Note:

• The offer of admission to the program is provisional in nature till the official score report is received and verified by the Institute.
• Please note that in case of GMAT and GRE, the Institute shall receive the test score card from the respective agencies only after 15-20 days from the date of your request on their website to share such score cards.
• The official GMAT/GRE score cards must be received by IIM Udaipur within one month from the date of receiving the letter of admission by the candidate.

Eligibility

• Minimum of 10+2 years of school education and a Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks (minimum three years of bachelor’s level education after the completion of higher secondary schooling)
• Valid GMAT or GRE score (not older than 5 years from date of GMAT/GRE exam) or CAT score of tests taken in 2020 or later.
• Minimum full-time work experience of 36 months as of February 29, 2024

• There are two broad criteria for selection. Academic and professional track-records are part of the objective criteria for selection. The other elements include communication skills, problem-solving abilities and aptitude towards structured and unstructured methods of working.

• If you meet the admission criteria, you can apply for the program. You may share the details of your experience with the Admissions Office and seek clarification.

• There are no scholarships available for one year MBA programs at IIM Udaipur. However, many of the major banks in India provide loans to cover most of the tuition fees and program expenses at IIMs. Details concerning rates of interest and other loan conditions should be confirmed directly with the banks.

• No, there is no particular cut-off score of the GMAT/GRE/CAT for GSCM at IIM Udaipur. A valid score is required for admissions.

• The validity period for a GMAT/GRE score to apply for the GSCM program is five years. For CAT, scores of tests taken in 2020 or later are valid.

• All the scores are equally valid for admission in the GSCM program. Candidates can submit the scores of any of the exams of their choice.

• No, applicants can save their application.

• A Personal Interview is part of the admission process for the GSCM program at IIM Udaipur. Interested candidates must fill in the online application form. Applicants are then shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria and called for the second round where they are screened through a personal interview. An offer of admission is made based on a candidate's academic profile, work experience, score in GMAT/GRE/CAT and personal interview.
• Group discussions are not conducted as part of the admission process

• The program doesn't require any prior experience in supply chain management for admission.

• Once the offer is made, generally a candidate has a span of around one to two weeks to accept or decline the admission offer.

• All payments are to be done through online modes of payments like Internet Banking, Debit Card, etc.

• IIM Udaipur campus occupies 300 acres in Balicha about 8 km from the centre of Udaipur. The campus has state of the art classrooms and WIFI. Students are provided with air-conditioned accommodation. The campus has a fully equipped gym and other recreational facilities. The master plan for IIM Udaipur's campus has been awarded GRIHA's 5 Star LD rating which is the highest level of rating for large developments. There is an atrium for Yoga, a room for meditation, a 24X7 medical centre, an ATM and eateries.

• Yes. Campus life at IIMU is vital and active with a myriad of student clubs and committees. Functional and professional clubs, cultural clubs, sports and hobby clubs, social outreach – IIMU has it all. Several student-run cells and committees also facilitate activities throughout the year. Students can explore their interests and passions, develop life-long bonds and relationships and hone their leadership skills.

• The eligibility norms for Ph.D. are decided by the respective universities/institutions and may vary. You may like to confirm this directly with the respective university/ institution. As far as pursuing a Ph.D. at IIM Udaipur is concerned, those who have successfully completed this program are considered eligible to apply.

• Any full-time work experience, where an employee works with an employer on a full-time basis and gets compensated, will count as full-time work experience. When requested, please submit the relevant last two months’ payslips to the Admission Office.
• Please note that apprenticeship/internship/part-time/project work/articleship/pre-graduation work experience will not be counted as work experience.

• The Institute has Executive Accommodation for married students. Only the spouses of the married program participants are allowed to stay in the Executive Accommodation. If you desire to avail of this facility, you need to apply for such a facility after securing an admission in the program. The Admissions office will write to all the candidates admitted in the program sometime in February/ March to check if they are interested in availing this facility.

Accommodation for the spouse is provided with the following conditions:

• Married accommodation is in the same building as is for the other One Year MBA program participants. These are the same executive rooms that are available to One Year MBA program participants.
• The charges for the accommodation and mess for the spouse must be borne by the program participant.
• For a duration less than one month of stay, the charge is 250/- per day.
• For a duration of one month and above the charge is 5,000/- per month.
• Children will not be permitted to stay in such facilities at any time.
• Food charges will have to be paid based on actual consumption directly to the vendor.
• An additional bed with mattress, one set of bedsheet and pillow with cover will be provided.
• A recent passport size colour photograph should be submitted to the Programs office to enable the issue of an IIMU identity card for the spouse.
• Self-attested copies of the marriage certificate, Photo ID proof (for example, voter ID, PAN Card etc.) of the spouse, should be submitted to the Programs office.
• In the interest of safety, cooking of any kind is not allowed inside the room. However, the individual may use the pantry facility.
• Washing machines and other common facilities may also be used by the spouse.

• A distance education degree is valid. However, the applicant has to make sure that such a degree is awarded by a University or educational institution which is incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

• Yes, the candidate is eligible to apply for both programs. But the candidate must finish the first program application before moving on to the second.
