Work Experience
  • Sunil is a Visiting Faculty at some of the leading business schools in India, including IIM Bangalore, where he anchors courses in the area of Finance. His primary areas of interest are Securities Markets; Financial Derivatives; Fixed Income Securities; and International Finance.
  • For the past 11 years Sunil has been active as a corporate trainer and management consultant. He has delivered training programs on Global Securities Markets and Global Banking to some of the multinational IT firms located in India. Sunil also has over 20 years of teaching experience and has taught at leading business schools in the U.S., Singapore, Australia, and India.
  • Sunil currently teaches courses on Fixed Income Markets at some of India's premier business schools, including IIM-Bangalore, IIM-Ranchi, and IIM-Indore.
Publications

A prolific writer, he has published several books, primarily in the field of Financial Derivatives, with McGraw-Hill in India and in Singapore, and John Wiley in Singapore and in India. His prominent publications include:

  • Futures and Options: Concepts and Applications – published by McGraw-Hill New Delhi in 2009. An international version of this book was published by McGraw-Hill Singapore in 2010.
  • Futures Markets: 200 Questions & Answers (co-authored with Dr. Shantaram Hegde of the University of Connecticut) – published by John Wiley Singapore in 2007.
  • Series on Securities Markets – this is a series of monographs on topics of interest to the securities market professionals, and thus far nine volumes have been released. The books have been published by McGraw-Hill New Delhi.
  • Fundamentals of Financial Instruments – published by John Wiley Singapore in 2011 and reprinted by Wiley India in 2012.
