IIM Udaipur was delighted to host Mr. Vijay Narasimhan, Senior Manager, Decision Science, PayPal, for the latest Netratva - The Leadership Talk Series session on 29th September 2023. Mr. Narasimhan's insightful talk centered around "Product Management and Data Science in the Real World."
The speaker commenced by explaining the concept of product management, shedding light on its vital role within organizations and offering clear explanations of key terminology. He also emphasized the contemporary relevance of Agile methodology in the fast-paced business landscape.
Mr. Narasimhan stated that to become a proficient product manager, one must adopt a CEO-like mindset, understanding all facets of the product at a higher level. He also focused on the importance of building robust business cases and the vital role of effective communication.
