On 28th November, IIM Udaipur had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Judhajit Das, Chief of HR, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, for a session of e-Netratva, The Leadership Talk Series.
The session began with him talking about taking an optimistic approach to how the current pandemic has affected the global economy and businesses. He mentioned that although the new normal has taken the definition of volatility across the world, it has led to creative destruction. The uncertainty and destruction, in turn, have facilitated the development of several entrepreneurial ideas and, futuristic products and services.
Mr. Das concluded his talk by stating that health and safety have gained ground as a primary concern in people's lives and that COVID-19 has only accelerated the changes which would have otherwise occurred five years down the line.
The session ended with a Q&A round where Mr. Das answered some questions revolving around the changing modes of human interaction in these challenging times.
