It’s Orientation Week for the new PGP batch at IIM Udaipur. 250 students make up the first batch to start their IIMU journey at the new permanent campus at Balicha.
For the first time, a session with alumni was included as part of the orientation program. A panel was held with three dynamic alumni – Bhuvan Prashanth, now the Senior Product Manager at Quikr, is a graduate of the pioneer PGP Class of 2013. Richa Sharma, Senior Manager in Marketing & Corporate Communication at YES BANK, and Rohit Jaiswal, Product Head and one of the co-founders of Bombay Shaving Company, are both graduates of PGP Class of 2014.
In a wide-ranging conversation they talked about how to make the most of the PGP experience at IIMU, both inside and outside the classroom. They touched on some of the highlights of their two years, provided survival tips for coping with the rigorous academic demands, reflected on what they would do differently, and shared anecdotes about the friendships and memories they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
