My work experience related to the creation of academic content in the form of essays, business reports, and research articles across a wide variety of topics in marketing and business management piqued my interest in academics. Further, as an Academic Associate, I was able to understand and appreciate academia more closely by access to the right resources, infrastructure, and environment.
Moreover, while performing job-related duties, I was introduced to the realm of consumer psychology and consumer research. All of these instances, motivated me to explore and dive deeper into these areas of interest and thereby helped me with the decision to pursue academic research in a structured and focussed manner.
I have a deep-rooted interest in the domain of consumer behaviour and consumer psychology.
Specifically, I am interested in topics related to resource scarcity and compensatory consumption.
