Profile
I have done MBA in Finance from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur and B. E. Honours in Computer Science and Engineering from University Institute of Technology, University of Burdwan, W.B.
I have done CFA Level I from CFA Institute, USA and also a member of the Actuarial Society of India and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Due to my immense interest in knowing the psychological aspects of investors and investment, I am doing PG in Psychology from IGNOU, which is on the verge of completion.
My academic background is a blend of Finance, Computer science, Operations Research and Applied Mathematics along with Psychology.
I have around 10 years of Academic experience in the areas of Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting, Statement & Analysis, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, International Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Mergers, Acquisitions & Corporate Restructuring, Behavioural Finance.
I have keen interest in exploring various fields of knowledge and doing interdisciplinary studies.
I believe in positivity and holistic development. I am enthusiastic , humorous and like to accept challenges.
My areas of interest involve doing yoga, reading books and spiritual articles, studying psychology of people, exploring new places, Gardening, Reading and writing articles, learning new things, solving puzzles, arts and music.
Research interest
My research interest is in the areas of Behavioural Finance, Corporate Finance, Financial Market, Investment Analysis, Emotional Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence. I have special interest in interdisciplinary research interconnecting the field of finance, psychology and computer science. I have written articles related to ‘Psychology of Investment’, ‘Cryptocurrency’ and various other topics.
Academic Service
I have more than 10 years of teaching experience as a lecturer and assistant professor in different academic institutions in areas of finance, Quantitative techniques, operations research etc.
I have academic experience in the role of academic in charge, Member of the board of studies, Member (NAAC Committee), Head Program Coordinator for PGDM program, Examination coordinator.
I have been appointed as the observer for NEET exam. I was also appointed as the question paper setter and evaluator at the University level for Aryabhatta Knowledge University.
I have also delivered lecture for the ‘CMSCST entrepreneurship training program’ conducted by the Bihar Govt.
I have done various FDPs and refresher courses related to my field of study.
I have developed study materials and e contents for the various courses delivered.
I have guided UG and PG students for various projects and summer internship reports.
I have coordinated for various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
I have coordinated and conducted webinars, workshops, conclaves etc. on a national level.

I have around 4 months in the corporate sector and over 10 years of experience in the academic service in various academic institutions.
