B.Tech (Civil)+MBA (2012-2017) from JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur
I did my 10th and 12th from Sophia Senior Secondary School in Bhilwara. I got 9.4 CGPA in 10th and 88% in 12th. I did my graduation in B.Tech + MBA (Civil) from JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur. I got placed as a Merchandiser in A&D International Pvt. Ltd. which is a furniture manufacturing and export company in Jaipur. My work there involved Working closely with buyers and other merchandisers to plan product ranges, meeting with suppliers and distributors, negotiating quantities and delivery time-scales, managing levels and distribution of stock. I worked there for 7 months and then went on to do post graduation in M.Sc. Financial Economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics in Pune in 2018. During my Master's program, I have spent time in making myself equipped with diverse set of tools used in economic analysis as best as I could. I also joined NITI Aayog as a research intern during the summer vacations where I worked on the project 'Critical Review of Accrual Reforms'. Due to my inclination towards research, I am motivated to pursue Ph.D. Currently, I am working as a virtual intern for Ameliorate Strategic Consultants, Mumbai. My work here involves economic analysis of real estate sector of India.
My research interests broadly, include, banking and public finance system, monetary and behavioral economics and time series analysis and forecasting. In particular my interest is in studying the central bank communication and efficiency of monetary transmission. There are gaps in the existing literature which can be explored. Firstly, the focus of current research has been in studying central bank communication for developed countries, the research is equally fundamental for emerging economies as there output constitutes a significant proportion of the global output. There is a lack of literature on what kind of central bank communications (formal or informal) are more appropriate for certain markets and how does it affect MTM.
